This edition of the Nike Air Max 1 draws inspiration from wabi-sabi, the traditional Japanese philosophy that embraces imperfection and the beauty of transience. Featuring a canvas base with premium suede overlays, the sneaker is dressed in earthy tones that reflect its natural, handcrafted aesthetic. Distinct details include “cracked” midsole graphics, exposed stitching, and a Gum rubber outsole for a vintage touch.

In celebration of the Air Max 1’s 35th Anniversary, the sneaker showcases “XXXV” embroidery on the lateral heel and special “3.26” tongue tags marking Air Max Day. Finishing touches include Swoosh smiley graphics on the heels, interchangeable tongue tags, and custom packaging, making this a unique collector’s piece that blends heritage with thoughtful design.
